Welcome to Queen Village

A historically rich community steeped in charm

Queens Village was one of the first communities incorporated into the Greater Philadelphia area in 1854 and remains one of the oldest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Local Lifestyle

Queen Village is a small, tight-knit community offering a sense of suburban peace. Its South Street Head House District represents over 300 cafes, restaurants, entertainment venues, and shops, which makes it attractive to new businesses that provide a constant, steady stream of revenue and vibrance to the area. Residents appreciate how everything is easily accessible on foot and regularly patronize nearby parks, family-operated diners, and locally-owned stores.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

If you just take a leisurely walk down Fourth Street in Queen Village you might as well bring your appetite! The Famous 4th Street Delicatessen, famous for jumbo-sized sandwiches, and Fitz on 4th are both on this iconic street. Two streets over, on Second Street, is Lucky's Last Chance, a great hangout spot for locals who call themselves gourmet burger connoisseurs.

Queen Village is a paradise for coffee lovers. If you are looking for an industrial-chic cafe featuring espresso drinks and teas served at communal tables, stop by Shot Tower Coffee. A robust and original brick veneer adds an artsy character to Red Hook Coffee and Tea, another great establishment to grab a cup of coffee to-go.

Shopping in Queen Village must include a visit to Moon & Arrow. This socially-responsible establishment sells vintage and handmade jewelry, clothing, accessories, and home furnishings. Its impressive list of unique items packed into an ideal Queen Village storefront gives Moon & Arrow a ton of fun, charm, and character! Afterward, stop by Head House Books or Brickbat Books to find your next best read.
